Tummy Tuck
Flat, well-defined abs are so in. So now.
So right for you. And so easily attained.
With the help of an abdominoplasty, or tummy
tuck, you can transform a flabby, protruding abdomen into an enviable
feature. Tummy tuck patients might have always had this "problem
area" or may have developed it with age and fluctuating weight.
Women might also gain some size in their tummy region after pregnancy.
Abdominal improvement of any magnitude can be achieved with a mini
or extended tummy tuck.
The Procedure:
It's usually performed on an outpatient basis under general or
local anesthesia in Premiere's private operating room. Excess
fat and skin are removed and the abdomen muscle wall tightened
and
recontoured.
It can be performed in conjuction with liposuction
for added benefits.
Post Procedure:
There is some temporary pain association with this procedure. Swelling,
numbness, bruising, and fatigue can also persist for several
weeks to months, depending on the patient. A work routine can
usually be resumed after 2-4 weeks and anything more
strenuous
after
4-6
weeks,
though
sometimes
longer.
It can
can take several months to several years for scars to fully fade
and flatten.
Costs:
Tummy tuck costs depend on the magnitude of the surgery and on
the patient's situation. Specific prices can be determined at
the consultation.
